Summer Film Camp

This five-day day camp program offers students ages 13-17 the opportunity to learn the film production process, create a short film, and explore the spiritual impact of film.

Film camp is a safe place to work on projects you create, shoot, edit and take with you. Students learn from working professionals in film and are able to see if film is an industry that will capture their heart and imagination.

No prior knowledge or experience is required.

Summer Film Camp

The 2009 Film Camp is August 3-7, from 9:00am until 5:00pm. The cost is $599.

Registration will close on June 1, 2009. Typically this camp accommodates 24 students, so register early and pay the minimum deposit of $150 to reserve your spot! Those students paying the full $599 with their application will be permanently placed on the camp list. Those who choose to pay the deposit will need to pay the balance by June 30, 2009 to keep their place in the camp.

When 24 spots have been reserved, additional applicants’ names will be placed on a waiting list and will be notified of their status before July 10, 2009.

*Lodging and meals are not available on site, or included in the cost of the camp. Many local campgrounds and hotels are available for lodging. Local restaurants are a short distance from Compass Film Academy. Students are welcome to bring their own lunches each day.
